Cancellation Policy:

If cancelling 7 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the booking total

If cancelling 14 days before arrival, forfeit 50% of the deposit

If cancelling 30 days before arrival, forfeit 0% of the deposit

Indemnity and disclaimer:

1. The proprietors (owners), their agents, and employees shall not be liable for any claims of theft, injury, loss or damage of any nature arising from default, negligence, or any other cause.

2. I/We indemnify and hold harmless Huizen Eco-Pods (Pty) Ltd - Hidden Peaks and its proprietors and directors, including its agents and employees, against any claims arising from default, negligence, or otherwise, regardless of the nature of the claim.

3. I/We acknowledge that the cabins do not have fencing around them and that there are no balustrades on the decks. I/We agree to the cabin and deck in its current condition, and acknowledge that the aforesaid imposes a risk and fully accept such risk. I/We agree to not hold the landlord, farm owner, Huizen Eco-Pods (Pty) Ltd - Hidden Peaks, its directors and employees liable for any negligence, damage, injury and or death.

4. While every reasonable precaution has been taken to ensure safety at Huizen Eco-Pods (Pty) Ltd - Hidden Peaks, whilst preserving and maintaining a unique experience, I/we acknowledge that inherent risks may be associated with my/our stay. I/we accept these risks.

5. Fire extinguishers and first aid equipment are available in the cabins in case of emergencies.

6. I/We agree to ensure that my/our behaviour and that of my/our group members do not cause discomfort or disruption to other guests. The proprietors reserve the right of admission and may act against inappropriate behaviour.

7. I/We understand that Huizen Eco-Pods (Pty) Ltd - Hidden Peaks and its owners are not liable for any loss or damage to valuables or property. It is my/our responsibility to arrange adequate insurance coverage for valuable items.

8. The use of the plunge pool and surrounding areas is at my/our own risk and I/we indemnify Huizen Eco-Pods (Pty) Ltd - Hidden Peaks and its owners against any claims arising from its use. There are no life-saving facilities provided.

9. I/We acknowledge that the premises, animal interactions, 4x4 drives, mountain biking, hiking and any outdoor activities are taken at my/our own risk. Children must be always supervised by adults.

10. I/We accept full responsibility for any loss or damage caused to any cabin due to my/our actions or omissions . I/we agree to reimburse Huizen Eco-Pods (Pty) Ltd for any such loss or damage.

11. Huizen Eco-Pods (Pty) Ltd - Hidden Peaks reserves the right of admission and is not liable for any loss or damage resulting from the exercise of this right.

12. Smoking is strictly prohibited within Hidden Peaks, Verloren, Southern Peaks and Yellowstone accommodation areas.

13. Firearms are not allowed on the premises for safety reasons.

14. Check-in time is 14:00, and checkout time is 10:00.

15. It is my/our responsibility to ensure that all fires are properly extinguished before leaving them unattended. I/We accept full responsibility for all fires and will be held liable if damages, injury and/or death occur due to negligence on my/our behalf.

16. The area is prone to occasional flash floods which may hinder access to the farm. I/We acknowledge that, in the event that the farm becomes inaccessible due to flooding or any other weather conditions, my/our booking may be cancelled. I/We will have the option of a full refund or a new booking at a future available date of my/our choice.

17. All of the above is applicable to me/us, my/our estate/s, my/our successors and assigns and we waive any and all right against the landlord, farm owner, Huizen Eco-Pods (Pty) Ltd - Hidden Peaks, its directors and employees for any damage, injury and or death, of whatsoever nature and whatsoever cause.

By staying at Huizen - Hidden Peaks, I/we accept and agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this document.

I/We hereby confirm that I/we have read, understood and agreed to the terms and conditions of this Indemnity & Disclaimer Form.
